pop up balloons

anyone know how to disable these bloody pop up ballons that appear near the task bar down the bottom in windows, like your "anti virus may be outa date, click this ballon to fix the problem", etc

Just a thought for you.

There may be a way in the set up part of program.
Tick box type "Warn me of virus not up to date" type line.

depends on your operating system. XP is a registry hack or you could use tweak ui (google for it) not sure about vista but probably the same as XP but with ultimate windows tweaker, windows 7 is right click the icon and change its properties.

I am going to assume your not very computer savy so http://download.microsoft.com/downl...a6-b352-839afb2a2679/TweakUiPowertoySetup.exe is what you want. Or http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307729 for the registry hack or use the fix it for me.
