Pop Ups - Help!!

Gents,

Up until recently I rarely got a 'pop up' on the computer.

Now I'm plagued with them, - all kinds, offering free ringtones, cheap bank loans etc etc.

I din't know why they've suddenly started arriving, and they're a bloody nuisance as I have to keep deleting them.

I was going to get a pop up blocker from PC World. I think Norton does one.

Is that the best way to go?

Anyone know why they are suddenly arriving,- the kids say they haven't altered any of the settings.

Is it just a case of installing the Norton thingy and then I'll be pop up free again?

Install the google toolbar - http://toolbar.google.com

You get a search bar right in your browser and you get to selectively enable popups from the websites that you trust e.g. ukgser personal messages
