Hi Gazza

I'm just gonna follow the front wheel, i just don't know if it will rain all the trip, will it be best to do big miles to get to the algarve and the possibilty of a bit of sun ear;y on in the week, I really have no plans as such, I just fancy doing a few miles!

We went down from Santander through the picos passing potes heading sw towards Braganca. Stopped there in an Hotel called Shalom. Cheap with secure car park underneath. From there just aim south to Castello Branco, hotel there was a bit more expensive but nice right on top of the hill, then onto Evora for a few days. Proper GS roads and very little signs so a bit of dead reconning and a compass come in handy if you are going to use some of the back routes. These legs are a nice days ride between each. Will probably go again sometime. Enjoy it. If you have a GPS I will send you the route if required.
