Portugal .... info?

Some additional suggestions...

Hi there Micky,

all suggestions already posted here are good to go, and i add some more:

- Gerês (Minho region, it´s a protected mountain region north of Braga, west of Chaves), beatiful landscapes, friendly people, great twisty roads... like the rest of the Minho region to be honest.
- Aveiro to Peniche, through the coast roads... even all the way to Lisbon, its a great way to know the northern coast.
- Piódão, a very, very, very :D small and beautiful village in the middle of "nowhere" (east of Coimbra, southwest of Serra da Estrela), very beautiful landscapes and good roads.
- The rural Alentejo, which is all the Alentejo riden using the secondary roads only... very hot on summer months, but very calm and relaxing and rides.

PM me if you need some more pointers.

Many thanks adfc ... hoping to visit the Estrela area in particular, we had already marked it out as being a probable :thumb

Lisbon (my hometown!)is a must! So are Óbidos, Minho and Sintra! Serra da Arrabida just southern of Lisbon on the coast will show great curves, beaches, wine and fish!
If u do come down to lisbon I'll be happy to buy U a couple Sagres  and show U arround with a few local gsers!

That sounds like maybe a plan coming together André :thumb

Don't really do cities, much rather prefer the open roads, small villages and people :)

Great curves, wine and fish sound good though :ChrisKelly :fnikefork
