VF1000F ’88, Transalp ’93, Africa Twin ’94, VFR750’96, VFR800 ’99, Varardero ’00, Varardero ’03 (written-off), Varadero ’03, 1200GS ‘04
All the above fitted into the last 11 years – was I disappointed by any of them since there has been so many – no. The Transalp was not man enough for me ‘n da missus so was swapped for the AT. The AT had the worlds worst seat but otherwise was a great bike – and so on thru’ the list – not a dog anywhere, but all rather different.
Like a few others have commented – I love my 1200 – but then, I loved all the others, for various reasons of course – could’nt wait ride them – is’nt this how it should be ??. Likewise, I am really enjoying the GS, can’t wait to get on that either…..
I have decided that the GS purchase was’nt by any means a mistake, I’m a happy GS’er….
