Available at Leedle from the 20th ....

At a Fiver, they're certainly cheap enough. However, since there's no Outlast or other PCM in them, I doubt they're the best ever.

Something like these Wigwam socks will do a much better job of regulating the temperature of your feet.

I've worn Wigwam Outlast socks under my TCX Infinity GTX boots in temperatures over 40 deg C with high humidity levels and my feet have still been comfortable.

possibly, I said ... and for a fiver...??

I bought some of their snowboarding socks - same sort of thing - for less than £3.00 about five years ago, still going strong today!

nice one

thanks for the tip Greggers
just got the last 4 pairs in my size
u were right - how they padded em out makes them great bike boots :beerjug:

are these mail order / Aldi / Lidl /Millets /Blacks ????

i could do with a pair or two pls..

Iceland or Croatia i just hae a dig around in the sock drawer n pick out a few pairs that look ok ( nae holes) n off we go :D :D

(mind you at 44 degrees c the smell could prolly clear whole battlfields)

no answer?? :comfort

:bow

See where it says Leedle in the first post? Well that's an approximate phonetic representation of Lidl. They might have some left in your local branch and then again.....they might not.

I bought a couple of pairs and have been wearing a pair all day today.

As the Aldi / Lidl offers only last a week I find it is worth subscribing to their email to get a few days to plan a visit or not. Many bargains :D

Not that I've bought much mind....

I've been twice this week. Roof bars for SWMBO's new Tiguan on Monday, ski socks and a snood for me yesterday...

There's a flyer in The Scotsman every week and you can just keep an eye on the website.

Coming up next Thursday....

ah ha!!

Phonetic's eh...... thats good :blagblah but whats wrong with posting Lidl :blast

I got a couple of pairs anyway ...thanks very much.:thumb2

I've a couple of pairs - left sock has a panel where the gearlever would be. So no old Brit bikes, Laverdas or Morinis?

They must be the motorcycling socks that they sold quite some time ago. These ones are skiing socks. The Rev Counter used to have whole forum dedicated to socks but it doesn't seem to be there any more....:augie
