Potes accomodation

Does it look like they have room to park a small car?

Probably not. We stayed a few years ago and thought it was excellent - comfy rooms and excellent (but fairly pricey) food. The garage was their private garage on the other side of the river and they had to shuffle stuff around for us to get the bikes in.

Cheers for that :thumb

Bump
I`m currently resident at Casa Cayo for a few days, and I can say its a great hotel.
But it was a lot of messing around to get to the hotel when I 1st arrived, as the street its on is strictly pedestrianized with a chain over the end of the road. As soon as I managed to squeeze the bike past the chain and park at the end of the road to unload my gear, the cops where straight on my case to move. They even hassle the guys in vans doing deliveries. to find the hotel coming from the south, dropping down into town you`ll go past the Santander bank on you right, the little road the hotel is on is on the left, on the bend before the bridge. You`ll see the chain across the street.
There is parking 200m away on the right just over the bridge, which I`m probably going to have to use when I depart so I can reload the bike. The bike however is in the garage, albeit its 700m away past the hospital. So I suspect that each day I want to take out the bike, and return I`m gonna have to borrow the key, get the bike out, park it up nearby, take the key back before I head out. Then on my return do it in reverse

That's right mate. We just pulled up outside the pedestrian cobbled street to drop the key in. No drama.

La Pisa

Have a look on the web at 'La Pisa'. Lovely place, lovely English owners, fantastic evening meals, great access to all round the Picos!

Stayed here myself last week, superb little place. Family run and great people , bike secure as out in sticks, Top notch grub , fully recommend. Even a cider Museum next door!!

Potes Hotel

+1 for Casa Cayo
Stayed there a couple of years ago.
Yes they even carried all our panniers up to the rooms, most unexpected.
Didn't eat in it other than breakfast - lots of local restaurants.
Thought it was good value, and def would stop there again.

i can recomend hotel valdecoro http://www.hotelvaldecoro.com/ . had a great time, parking at rear next to the kitchen.

+1 for the Valdecoro. We stayed there last month and it was excellent - near the centre, good food, comfortable recently modernised rooms and secure parking for the bikes in a fenced area behind the hotel.
