I'm not looking to change my bike yet but I have decided and saving for a power commander and custom map for my 08 GSA which has straight through Keiham Headers + Ackra + K+N.

Can anyone advise me if my fully tuned GSA with PC will still lack compared to the 2010 GSA please?

No but I would be concerned about how lean your current bike is running with that setup.

Why not take a test ride :nenau

I tested a 2010 and bought a 2008 two weeks later, did not really notice the difference, I am sure it may show up side-by-side but can't be a huge difference.

How about a Hilltop remap, they seem to get a fair bit more power for similar price to Power Commander, or why not just buy a faster bike if that is what you really want.

I have 4x bikes already, my wife would not allow me another bike! LOL

I'd be surprised if a stock 2010 would be more livelier than mine due to the other stuff holding it back - cat, rear can, stock air filter etc. But I don't trust myself, if I found the 2010 better it would niggle me!

Then someone does the same mods on a 2010 Twin Cam :augie

Had a Power Commander fitted and custom map today and rode back 150 miles. Not a masive improvement on performance, IE it's not like NOS or anything like that but the bike is smoother at lower RPM which means it's easier in traffic plus it is marginally livelier on the accelerator.

All in all I'm glad I've had it done, at last!
