Power lead 4 2610

Hi All,
Need some info ,have just bought the power lead for m/c use, the one with bare wires on the end i gather this can be taken straight to the battery or can i for quickness attach a touratech
mini plug that i have and just plug it into the bike`s accessory socket? Thanks

I have just wired my up, directly to the battery, power on all the time as you need it.

Will sort out a switch over the winter months for this and my Autocom, mounted on the dash.

I just added an accessory plug I found in a caravan shop - I used that as it was fused - and plug it in to the front accessory socket.

martin,

Colleagues at GPSW Support tell me the Garmin cable (Part 010-10495-02)
- power & audio cable, with bare wires to power and socket to connect into the 2610 plus there's a jack socket for auto com (if needed).

Ram man that is the lead i have but am still undecided as to how i`ll connect ie, Acc- socket or battery
I will sleep on it a bit longer.
