I want to use the std 1150GS accessory power socket to connect my Chilli heated vest. The plug that Chilli can suply is about 4" long and looks like it will foul the inside of my leg....

Can anyone recommend a source of a shorter plug and/or right angled one?

Tavmuch.

I looked at doing the same there is a shorter plug but I did not like having the jacket plugged ito the socket (leaning down to plug in and kicking it out etc) I have the Chilli supplied connector connected straight to the Battery terminals (it has an in-line fuse and it tucks inbetween the front of the seat and the back of the tank when not in use. It is easy to connect when you are on the bike, the thermostat is fastened with velcro on the tank bag or my trouser leg and when you get off the connection is broken anyway.

May have to opt for this as I have the std battery fixing, although the right angle plug looks okay on the website..... it's all about length..... and before anyone says it...oo-er.

It works well and I would not use the accessory sockey for this purpose now, I also use itfor charching myy phone and GPS in the tank bag on the move (only when its warm though.
