Power supply socket not working 1250GS

Twas working for a while but now yields nowt. Tried a couple of bike type plugs, bot with engine running, that are known to work. Any ideas on how to fix?

I'm not the best at electrics
 
I'm just recharging a phone..... if the Canbus shut it down presumably that's a dealer visit?

this is the normal issue, tyre pumps for air etc,most exceed the 5 amp capacity so the can bus shuts down. Id check the two push on wire terminals behind the socket itself, one of mine was loose on the 1200 rallye.

This might sound daft but if the USB thing that you have connected to the bike wont allow 2 amps then the I phone wont charge so it could be that

Saying this based on my experience with trying to chatge i phones from bikes using cheapo chinky usb connectors

I agree. Why would you post in a forum without the basic knowledge of the subject ? Ask by all means if you want information , But dont offer information on something you clearly have no knowledge of ?

OK, condescending twats and those that don't recognise themselves as that the Canbus has reset itself and Thunderbird are Go again..... just as an aside the riders manual does not cover failed power socket or condescending twat first responders

Canbus isn't new. Wet clutch isnt new. God its tiring. I woudnt offer information on something i know little about. Bit strange. Oh god Im going roundincircles here:D

Well page 194 and 195 in my man covers it
"The power sockets are also switched off when the maximum load capacity as stated in the technical section is exeeded"
Oh and on page 228 "max 5a total for all sockets "
