Power up delay when switching on

When I insert the key and switch on with a cold engine the bike dose not power up. It will not start or illuminate any of the displays. After 30 seconds the display lights up and everything is OK.
I hope its not a ring antenna problem, its into the dealer for a service next week so they will have a look at it for me.

No idea what's causing the fault but if you'd had it that time we were meant to meet up at Otley for the rideout I reckon we'd have just caught you before you set off
