Powerfull lights for the GS only £0.00!!

Try this:

With no pillion or loaded pannier flick the headlamp switch to lower the beam on the GS as you would if you were carring pillio and/or loaded panniers.

Now turn on the main beam and hey presto turn night into day!

I've been driving like this for a week now and not a single car/bike flashed the lights to me.

Since the main beam has a projector lense on the beam has a little spread. If you must you can fine tune the beam with the adjustment screw.

...Isn't it the dipped beam wot has the projector lens??

I've done this and then used the fog & spot lights to fill in the missing bits ie fogs to widen the beam on dip and spots for distance

Er yep. The main is a reflector type.
