preparing for european tour

is it a bad thing to take the bike off road (conti road-attacks, sarn helen, good idea at the time), rip the sump guard off and get the clutch smoking 6 days before spain/france?

it also got very dirty, but I've washed that off

is the clutch thing terminal?

Clutches smoke at the slightest provocation... as long as it isn't slipping now don't worry.

yeah try going through cones slow riding full lock to full lock and see how they smoke

Just go and have fun riding it, add the clutch to the host of other items the nay sayers say we shoud worry about.
