If it makes one car driver notice him then I can't quite see what the issue is.

I wear a day glo jacket on my 12RT.
I'm not pretending to be plod but I do want other road users to know i'm there.
Plenty of them clearly think I'm a copper and adjust their driving accordingly. I can always tell when the penny's dropped by the way they revert to their usual driving style.
But at least they've seen I'm there.

Or maybe I'll just do like I've been doing for the last 37 years and trying to improve my chances by taking easy steps to be visible whilst always being aware that I might not have been seen?:rob

Got to say I'm actually more offended by his mate's pink deeley-bopppers.

Think it's a lady on the Suzuki GSR600, could have been she had been to the Squires toy run ?

As others have said if they aren't harming anybody what's the problem.

Oh well...just thought I would post about a so called biker pretending to be copper....guess some of you agree with this look :nenau

You lads in Yorkshire know how bad North Yorkshire is without anybody "pretending"

Sad very sad :type

I would think I spend around 60% of my total bikeing time in and around North Yorkshire.
Yes,at times it can be heavily policed but only on the usual sports bike runs,
I very rarely encounter any police when out and about around N/yorks.
Like anywhere you just need to take the time to get to know the place, and there are some fantastic roads where you will never encounter any police and very little traffic of any kind.

Mine was an attempt at humour which obviously didn't work.

I'll go back to being a grumpy old tw@t from now on, then we'll all know where we stand.

Lol. True enough. Despite my advanced years I remain a kid. :thumb

Good on ya ... grow old disgracefully I say :rob

Was up at the Seaways today with my kids and girlfriend Sue (Gracie on here)
A brace of 650Xc's and a brace of 1150GS-A's

The problem with biker cafes is the bikers.:rob Try and find a nice tea room, or garden centre, that'll keep the blood pressure down:thumb:D

I ride straight on and look for quiet tearoom instead

Helmsley as pretty good as there are plenty of choice, plus plenty of other folk

Fimber Nab Cafe serves good tea and cakes in summer

In the Dales, there's a wealth of ordinary cafes, farm shops etc

Showing your age now lad :rob

I've noticed of late that your cuppa tea spots don't so much as have baby changing facilities as wheelchair friendly amenities
