Private mailbox help

Can anyone lead me in the right direction. Apparently my mailbox is full so I went to clear ot out and there is misleading info on the very bottom pf the Forums page. It states I have a total of 58 messages however when I look in my messages there are only 4. This is also backed up by the fact that the status bar (again at the bottom of the forum page) says my mailbox is only 6.7% full......

Any help appreciated.
