In desperate need of some new waterproof boots and came across some PROBIKER SCOUT WP boots . They look good but i haven't heard much about the brand and was wondering if i'd be safer with some ALPINESTAR ROAM boots for a similar price . Any advice ?:nenau

Probiker is a German brand, I was on a tour with some German colleagues, in the summer, and several had various bits of Probiker kit, looked OK to me.

I think ProBiker is a brand belonging to Louis Bike Stores. It is a budget level compared to say Vanucci, which Louis rate as mid to high quality in clothing.

I haven't got much stuff by ProBiker so cannot really comment. I guess the fact that so many German bikers use ProBiker gear, it can't be too bad for the price.

Grey Beard.

Thanks guys . Free returns with em too so i think i'll give em a try .:)

Mandy has ProBiker trousers which she bought in Louis Frankfurt two years ago. They have proven to be totally waterproof and the quality is very good indeed for what is supposedly a budget brand.
