Problem downloading waypoints etc from mapsource

I`ve just downloaded mapsource & city nav V7 onto my laatop & when trying to send waypoints etc it tells me it has sent them ok & the unit ,2610, sas it`s got them but when I look on "find" then "waypoints" it hasn`t got it
Wheres it gone? it works ok on my other computer?
Also when I try & go onto the Check for software upgrade from mapsource it tells me "Problem with Garmin upgrade server"

Can anyone help before both my laptop & 2610 are flung out the window in frustration!!

Have you looked for the waypoints "by name" on the 2610? The drop down IIRC is near here, near route, by name. HTH.

Cheers John I`ve just had a look & it`s there! It threw me a bit as there was other waypoints where I was first looking & I expected it to be with them

The gentlemen of ukGSer come up trumps again!
