Problem with temperamental cruise-control solved

I had problems with my cruise-control, which wouldn't hold. My starter button was getting hard. My riding buddy had a faulty lights trigger. We've had left and right switch units replaced under warranty. Problems solved.

Those BMW units are known to be terrible. Now, they replace them with another model.

It seems they have beefed it up on the inside, they have had a few break,

Mine was replaced today, because the flasher switch failed, but it looks the same on the outside as before,
