Problems with non genuine windows and Rundll !!

I had our family PC upgraded some time ago, recently when turning it on we get a box- Windows XP that says this version of Windows is not genuine and wont receive security updates it gives me the options of get genuine or resolve later. I have been clicking resolve later.
I am now getting a box with Rundll in the left hand side , the box says Error loading C/ pROGRA - 1\newdopt - 1 NEWDOT-/ DLL.This specified module could not be found.
What should / can I do .
Any help in BASIC TERMS LIMITED COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE .
