I've an R100/7, a lovely bike, sweet as a nut. It would be a great shame to bugger about with yours but it's your call.......:nenau

I have one like that in the shed, but mine has more patina, (the brown rust coloured type)

Think I'd vote to keep it as it is & restore it as well as bring it up to date, lights, brakes etc.

Some nice bits on the old girl. bar mounted master cylinder, stainless silencers.

Keep it just as it is and enjoy the ride. I'd just get rid of the fairing bracket.

My R100 has got over 200k on it. Looks like they had the same sprayer :)

Now thats a sensible answer, now get onto Sherlocks for a right hand fork lower, second disc and caliper and it will also have a chance of stopping :augie
The 600 engine is a reliable but not exhilarating engine, capable of mammoth mileage without any problems :rob

Hey Proff, ive been out on the road with "Elevensies". Believe me, he doesnt go fast enough to warrant brakes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before you go for a second disc check out the m/c size.

WIth a 12 mm the twin disks will actually slow you down and it will have a nice feel to it.

Any bigger, particularly with one disk, and there simply just isnt a safe amount of braking.
