And also a fair bit higher, which is not good. But then that thing already weighs about 15 tons anway so it probably doesn't matter.....

Good spot…I didn’t notice the height. It still brings it forward of the rear axle though.

They don’t handle that well fully laden..

Not a very adjustable system though. Would be better on rails like an electric car seat somehow. If you were producing them for the market for differing sizes of riders, you might have to supply them with different lengths of steel for the "throw over". (or you could put spaced out holes and pick the one that suited I suppose)
