I'm trying to find a decent PTT (push to talk) button.

Im just running a bog standard headset & radio system but the ptt i have is not doing it for me! It fits to the grip with velcro but when fitted to my 1150gs the button is inline with (and interferes with) my access to the left indicator button.

Ive seen some that sit below the grip - does anybody know where i can get one? Or have an alternative?

ta!

Have you looked at the 'Autocom' site..........Might do the job !!

had a similar problem - til i gave up and now use vox only :thumb2
(but thats not helping you :blast)
the Autocom one - will fit neatly _under_ the grip.
i used cable ties / not velcro, then it didn't slip round. - just mind the clutch lever movement and not _stupidly_ tight if you got heated grips. :thumb2

HTH.

I am looking for the same bracket for my 1200. As an IAM senior observer I do use my PMR Radios and have a PTT Tie wraped to the bars. Looks crap and need to move hand from left grip to press.

Anyone know price and where to obtain ???

Jim, your profile says you have a 650, the bracket that I have got (Vehicle Developments) certainly fits a 1200GS but you may want to check it fits your bikes handlebars.

Ahhh sadly my trusty Pegaso is in bits!

Ive moved onto a R1150GS

The bracket is available from these guys,

Linky.

I would think that they might prefer a group purchase as they are not really in the retail market, that said, they were 100% helpful to me.

The switches that I used came from Farnell, as suggested by someone on these forums who I stole the idea off. I cannot remember who it is but good on em.

The original thread that inspired me is this one,

Linky.

Big thanks to everyone who posted on there.
