puncture kits

i have got the original kit supplied with the bike 1999 1100 g.s never been opened do i need to replace it as i am not sure if the glue and rubber bung thingie's are out of date,
if so any recomendations for an up to date alternative?............ta

I have had a good result or two using the BMW tool to put the sticky string type repairs in, I still carry the original kit too, must pick up some more glue, I believe thats the only part of the original kit that can go off.

+1 for the Stop 'n' Go kit ,

I tried the BMW kit in the garage and ripped 2 bungs and got covered in glue but the bung did seal the puncture.

Tried the same with the Stop 'n' Go kit worked first time, both repairs then did about 1000 miles before I repaced the tyre

Made by the same Stop an Go crowd. Same kit as mine but a different insertion method.
