Purchasing Lifetime Updates

I am thinking of going for the Lifetime Updates for my Zumo 660.

I can either purchase from Garmin for £74.99

or from Handtec for £49.19.

However the part numbers are different so before I go for the cheaper option and save £25 has anybody else on here purchased the Handtec version? I want to make sure it is the correct item for the 660.

You used to be able to buy "used" lifetime updates from an Amazon reseller, at a considerable saving than from Garmin direct.

I think I used Handtec for mine - no probs.

They are a reputable company - but fire them an e-mail if in doubt.

i bought the handtec update and it worked fine entering the number into garmin's website. can't say it was exactly that item you linked to though
