Feckin batteries are not much cop are they? Just took it for a spin down to the petrol station, filled it up and click click click.

try pushing a merc sprinter full to the top off the junction B*astad battery failed all was fine till I stopped and it stalled....

That topped my week off a treat....

well the bike about 12K the battery can be bought a pound stretcher for 99p it would appear...

Fit an Optimate and use it. The batteries are rubbishly small but if you take car of it there should be no problem!


PS-HAS ANYONE GOT A STANDARD CAN FOR SALE!!!!!!!!???????????

The Optimate appears to have done the trick, it is fair to say it had been sitting for 14 days while I was away so not ideal, but when I think of the crap weather the Adv sits out in all the time....

I will keep an eye on it, if it fails again it is new battery time.
