Pyrenees/Bacelona - Arctic Weather

I hope to do a trip in the Pyrenees/Bacelona area this year which will be my first time overseas on a motorcycle. Does any one have a good route for a two week trip or a GPS route that I could download. Thanks

I can recommend some roads in Southern Catalunya - we did a few day-long routes staying in Tortosa. (I was so impressed with all the roads there that I don't think you can go very wrong.)

I don't think I can attach Mapsource files, though.

I was out in Spain during October 2007, we hired BMW bikes from the main dealer in Barcelona for 4 days I can give you some good roads, cheap hotels etc just tell me what you want. I would love to tour up your way. I was thinking about hiring in Canada or may buy then sell after visiting for 6 week or more. If you have any info you can give me that would be great.

Hi Ewen,

A couple of mates and I are riding from Caen to Santander May23rd to June 3rd in a sort of curly dog-leg via the Puy, Millau and Perpignon.

One of the guys is dead keen on having a look at Barcelona and I picked up on your saying about knowing of cheap hotels in that area. I'd appreciate some addresses if you could manage that mate.
