Pyrenees Trails

Im going down to the French side of the Pyrenees in October, just South of Pau, with a couple of mates with our trail bikes in a van.
Anyone know of a reliable source of information on what is and isnt legal regarding trails etc?
Any known routes, must do's etc
All info gratefully recieved!

Will be able to give you a good idea about what around closer to Andorra after July. Austin Vince is running some good trailling weekends around Tremp this summer. Tremp is about 3-4 hrs from Pau by bitumen and is on the Spanish side of the Pyrenees.
