Another pig ugly as well as bland as fuck offering from global bad guys China. I suppose if you want a good value commuter it could fit the bill but surely there can be no pride in ownership? It's the sort of bike that make me feel queasy opening the garage door

totally agree , I haven't see hardly any Chinese bike id like to own for the reasons you give above. £6/7/8000 gets you a much nicer used bike from any of the mainstream manufacturers. I think the kove 450 offers something very good that no one else is making, otherwise id pick a secondhand jap European bike every time .
