Quest 1 - Watermarking on the Screen?

Used my Quest 1 and I used it in the rain.

After the unit dried, i'm now left with watermarking blobs on the screen.

Is this normal?

Have I got a duff screen?


Is there a fix to remove?

Your fault - fancy taking it out of the box and using it - ask Tarka where his is

Have you tried wiping it with a computer screen cleaner? Could you have driven through a Scirroccon wind recently or a salt cloud or did one of them nice aeroplanes driven by those really nice folk empty their tank over you somewhere?

I've heard of screen peel but only on Streetpilot's so soz I can't help, except to say Garmin's after sales (telephone answering aside) is usually exceptional.
