Quest and BMW Navigator II Dealer Data

Hi there!

Just tried to see whether the BMW update would download on my Quest: it doesn't...

Just wondering whether anyone's found a way around this? The update software program ("Updater") provided by BMW Motorrad is the same that Garmin use for Quest updates, but it looks like they've anticipated someone trying this on a Non-BMW unit and put a block in: the Quest freezes and needs a reset when you attempt to upload the data.

Any thoughts?

Can't answer your question - but I can tell you that the dealer data on the US version is completely useless - the locations were randomly up to a quarter of a mile away from the dealerships in the 4 examples I tried to find...

Maybe the UK/European ones are better, but you're better off ignoring the US ones and putting an address in for them instead.
