Im doing some work for a friend and discovered a few anomolies with the wiring and information noted on consumer unit being a bit suspect to say the least.
e.g.
circuit 1 lights , 1.0mm cable, 5 amp . feck all goes out when i switch this off (not bothered about this.)
circuit 2 lights, 1.0mm cable, 5 amp, THE ONLY THING IVE FOUND ON THIS CIRCUIT IS 1 SOCKET WIRED WITH 2.5mm CABLE.
circuit 3 wash ? , 1.0mm cable, 15amp, THIS SWITCHES ALL LIGHTS OFF. (not bothered with this then)
circuit 4 immersion, 15 amp , THIS SUPPLIES SOME NEW SOCKETS IN 2.5MM CABLE, (4), WIRED IN A RADIAL, heaviest load being the kettle.
circuit 5 cooker, 6mm cable, 45 amp, this is correct.
circuit 6 sockets, ring, 2.5mm cable, 30amp, this is correct .
My question is this, what size breakers should be in the consumer unit for circuits 2 & 4 , assuming all the rest have the values as listed.
heres a pic
