Question about Touratech tank bag

What is that thingy on left hand? Came with bag and can`t understand what to do with it

Something to put under arse?

You take off the seat & strap it to the frame tubes in front of the tank mate

Then you put the seat back and the flap is between the tank and the seat. The tank back clips on.

BTW, the bag feels quite proper. Map pocket is bigger than in my old tankbag, that was one of those thing what i wanted to improve. Second is that felxibility in volume.

I have one of them tank bags for sale if anyone wants it. Only used once!
