Question.... Firefox Browser users

Bookmarks.

I can organise the book marked pages in the 'Manage Bookmarks' menu option but...

When I return to Bookmarks in the browser, it hasn't lifted my Alphabetic ordering of the Bookmarks

You then have to scan down a very large (in my case) and unsorted list of Bookmarks to find the link you want

Anybody been there

Never noticed that but, I just use the search function at the top of the bookmark sidebar.

OK thanks finglonger, this is a simple/useful function though on a Bookmarks/Favourites bar.

If I could suss it I think I might make the switch as I am getting to like Firefox.

Check out some of the Avatars that move and some are much quicker especially oblertones its at least twice as fast on Firefox.



*EDIT* Just Downloaded the new version 1.0 (released today)

Faster my arse, the avatar is downloaded into your temp file. From then on your browser runs it at whatever speed it likes...

Nowt to do with download speed...

I'm on a 3.3MBITS connection here at home and the avatars have not changed. However there is a horrible white line around the UKGSER site as firefox mozila does not handle cascading style sheets properly...

I am still using it though Anything that aint MS has to be worth using IMHO

Check out some of the Avatars that move and some are much quicker especially oblertones its at least twice as fast on Firefox.

Noticed the white square, bit tacky, strange CSS dont display properly

I think it is a lot faster, but not download speed, since that doesn't change, but the way it uses cache and previously downloaded items.....

Just installed it

Just installed the new version and guess what, yip Bookmarks can now be sorted alphabetically

Yea but if you view them with IE they are slower than with F/F.

Alte....you always could do it I think.....by going to organise bookmarks then clicking in the 'names' bar above the list.....they all then drop into order.

I could get that to work OK but when accessing Bookmarks again from the Browser my nicely sorted links were all shapes.

I was using the preview version which I downloaded yesterday

I downloaded this 'latest incarnation' version 1.0 in which it works perfectly

I like it though its early days but have just made it my default browser for a while

It seems to refresh very quickly when redrawing or opening a new window. Also like the wee customiseable quick launch bars
