Dear Ram,

Friend of mine has 1200GS and has brought the Quest and standard cradle package. He's finding it very fiddly to fit the cradle and mount to the bike.

1. Is it possible to mount it to the handlebar using the standard mount?

2. If mounting to the bar just behind the screen are there any tips/special tools that help. Do you have to remove the screen?

many thanks

Andrew

> Andrew is the cradle .. the RAM GA15 or the Garmin bike mount ?. RAM has a diamond base to attach onto whilst the Garmin mount has a round base that attaches onto their moulded bike bracket pillar ?.

> Andrew Please confirm back 'standard mount' parts you have ?.

> Not necessary, the U-bolt bracket can be fitted to the oval arm going above the clock, or hooked into plate. Alec Muffett prepared picture gallery where he mounted his 2610 onto the 1200GS the forum thread is
