Just ordered a new OEM gel battery for my 1100 from Motorworks.
The site lists 'shop soiled' versions of the Exide OEM, so I phoned up to make sure that they are ok and have the same warranty etc. Turns out that they have just bought a job lot of brand new 1200 rear ends from a trike manufacturer (who buys new 1200's from BM and rips them to bits!).
The battery is effectively brand new and has the same warranty as the 'non shop soiled' version, so I bought one for £70 - a decent saving.
I've no connection with motorworks (apart from having spent a decent amount of my last months pay packet there
), but thought it might be of interest as it's getting into 'dodgy battery' season.
