Quick couplings are also sold by Wunderlich and Touratatech. But your local dealer should have them too, as they are standard on a GS Adventure.

I've heard that you need to be careful to get the right ones, because if the "open" diameter is too small, the fuel pump can't get enough fuel through.

It is definitely a nice thing to have on your fuel tank. Taking the tank off is a breeze with the couplings (if you make sure your tank is not full, otherwise it gets kinda heavy). If you click them back together, it makes sense to put some silicone grease on. They go in much easier and you don't damage the O-rings.

If you're going to get the couplings, maybe you can buy a few extra O-rings to put in your toolkit. If you open the couplings on the road and damage one putting them back together, you're in trouble!
