Decided to install a fusebox to power sat nav and spotlights. I wanted it to be on a relay activated by ignition power. First fusebox I bought was a regular spade type and I couldn't find a suitable home for it. I bought a mini spade version that can power 4 outlets which is plenty for me and its home can be seen in the photo. So I have one relay activated power source going into the box, I've soldered a wire across the 4 inlets so that each fuse receives power. The fuse box costs £10.70, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-Way-MINI-Blade-Fuse-Box-Holder-12v-amp-24v-Universal-/292195721641?. There was a tank clearance issue with the outboard mounting part of base but I cut that off and I think one nut will suffice for holding this board on, I can always use double sided tape if it starts to move at some point. I already had the relay as it came with the spots.

I've done similar myself in the past.
You canalso get neat unit that combines a relay holder and three fused outlets.

I got a garmin 2610 with a touratech mount for just cost of postage from some folks on here. I've experimented with sat nav in phone too and Bluetooth to cheap set of helmet mounted speakers with a Bluetooth receiver and that also works well. One will eventually get dropped but I'll still need a power source.

Looks like a good job to me let us know how it goes
I'm on my way home from Sweden today on the ferry from Fishguard now and was hoping to bring that R80 gs with me but couldn't find a cheap bike trailer so maybe next time I'm coming home
I'm thinking about doing something nice with it strip it down and upgrade forks shock and overall look of it I've seen some nice ones on here lately

Did about 60km on it today, nice bumpy back roads, alls well so far. The real test of something like this would be how well it tolerates wet conditions over a long period of time.
