Dear all,

Advice would be helpfully on a map case issue.

I don't want a tank bag & just want a map case.

Have tried baglux in past but just want a simple solution (low-profile).

I know cyco active do bar map cases but cannot get hold of the simple one without huge expense ( Touratech postage!& price) Cyco active Fold out version too coveluted for my needs . They do just a velcro Map case which I was wondering might fit a kriega tank base.

Otherwise wolfman map sleeve with kriega or wolfman base?

Years ago had simple hein geireke job.

Seems trying to keep it simple ends up complex!!:augie

Any ideas

Regards

I use a Touratech version.
Endurolenker map bag CM1 they call it.
Add a couple of velcro roll clips for the bars, also by Touratech.
Works well and I've been using them for a few years now.

Thank for the advice gone for kayak map case for now that is simiLar to the outlier from overboard- will adapt :)

Cheers

TT wanted to charge £8.50 minimum postage!

This info may help :

During the recent Heine Gerike sale I rooted through their 'bargin bin' as you do, and I got the base part of a tank bag that had a clear map section pocket.

It also had a zip around the outside as if another part would attach. Dont know why you would want to put some bag over the clear map pocket.

Dont know if this is actually part of a set or available just by itself or just a left over.

Made by Oxford Sport.

Straps round the headstock and then around the frame rails at the rear of the tank. I've actually cut the straps shorter to suit and 'stanley knifed' the zip off.

Because each part of the set has a map case on top :thumb.

I had a three-part 'Buffalo' tank bag for my 80 RT which was like that - base was just a map case, middle was a large bag and top a small bag. The top would also fit the base.

Handy thing.

Bob.
