Morning all!

Im looking to upgrade the screen on my R100GS-PD and although theyre quite rare, Ive noticed Motorworks (UK) stock one for £76.

The problem is, I dont want to order one to find it looks a bit of a dog when fitted!

Has anyone got one of these fitted on their GS which they could show me a photo of?

Ive been looking on other forums and Ive seen other suggestions for tall screens but theyre quite pricey in comparison, particularly the Powerbronze screen which also doesnt provide an image when fitted.

Any images of fitted screens would be great.

Thanks in advance!

Dreamscreensuk are a Dorset co on Ebay doing para screens.

Looks well that Garry, it certainly looks like it will deflect the wind over my helmet better than the standard screen.

Ive decided to part ways with my 2013 Triumph Tiger 800XC and make my R100GS-PD my only and primary bike, so Im making all necessary upgrades ready for the spring.

Thanks for your contributions all, Ill return with photos in the New Year so you can see how it looks.

Cheers

I’m not fully sure how to upload images, but hopefully this works...

I got the screen from Motorworks last week and fitted it the the GS. I don’t particularly like the look of it, but I’m hoping it does it’s job.

Looks ok to me and a really good height as long as its not in your eye line. Bring on the spring

I've tried a variety of screens, ermax, wurth and a tall parabellum. I found the parabellum gave me a cosy space with low noise so engine was much more audible. However the parabellum is seriously big and easy to knock your head against when dismounting. Of the others I found that they directed the air in such a way as to increase helmet noise with turbulence. I now ride with bog standard screen for a less disturbed airflow. I'm 6ft 2" and I'd guess that if I were a few inches shorter the likes of an ermax might just direct that turbulent air over my head. I found an interesting experiment is to use your hand as a flexible extension to the top of a screen and try to see if there is a position where you find less disturbed air.
