hallo this is my first airhead so i am not quit shure what tyres to put on it what looks chunky boot handels good on the road and last around 6000miles any idears !!! what are Metzeler Enduro3 SAHARA licke on tarmac !!! many thanks for any remarks nigel

I will go for a set of TKC80's any day come rain or shine.

Same here, TKC80's are good but don't last long enough.

I had TKC 80's for a long time. They are good if you realy go off road, because you pay a price on the road, for me it was noise, and wondering if you go beyond 125-130 kmh. As I don't go that much off road these days, I switched to Sahara 3's - quieter, more stable at speed, and the price you pay when you go off road - less agressive, but steel capable.

Mitas E07s have the chunky look and long life you are after, and as an added bonus they are the best tires I've had on the GS, with excellent road manners and as much grip off road as anything short of a knobbie
Distanzas are excellent too, but dont look as chunky or last as long, and they have a good bit less grip off road than the E07s without much more grip on road.
