Can I ask what your view is on the R100r circa 1993.
I have been offered one for what seems a reasonable price but being new to airheads I thought I would ask for opinions.
TIA
Paul

Towards the end of Airhead development so arguably the best in terms of innovation. As with all old bikes evidence of care and love more important than mileage.

Nice bikes.
Paralever rear, cross spoke wheels, double disk front brakes.
Nice bikes if it’s been looked after.......a late model in airhead development, and no real problems.
Not as expensive as a similar age GS, but a good road bike IMHO.

What mileage, what condition, and how well it’s been looked after are the most important things.

As above. The last of the line. If it's a good un snap it up. If it's tired or has not been cared for, it may still be a decent buy depending on the price and how inclined you are to spend time on it. Post some pics and a description and you'll get plenty of help and advice.

That looks good...I echo Posh Pete’s comment: Get it bought (as long as it’s a decent price)...only 23k miles, if genuine and proveable means it’s only just run in.

If you don’t want it, I’ll have it !

Wouldn't buy at that mileage, honestly. Airheads are like series Land Rovers...need lot's of fettling. Good luck.

I'd agree but it does depend on what's been done to the bike in the past AND the price. Have a good natter with the owner and write down all the work that's been done. Fire it up here for more help. :thumb2
