Sometimes wonder if we are too analytical on here. I know it's a chunk of money but if it looks good, rides well and the owner seems to have some integrity then I go for it.
On that basis I've walked away from quite a few - but bought some belters. Including my current 1100. I'm mechanically incompetent and not even sure which bolt to undo to check the gearbox oil - but nothing has gone horribly wrong yet after 40 years of buying bikes on this basis.
By the way the 1100 has done over 7,000 miles since I bought it at the end of April - so it's not like I don't use them.

Where do you get it and is it an 1100 only tipple?
Make any difference to the 1150 & it's 6 speed box?
