R1100RT '97 caliper on R1150GS '01 concern

BMW R1150GS 2001 48K ABS, brembo 4 cylinder (NON servo) calipers.


Hello,

LHS caliper corroded and made one of the cylinder dust seals partially to pop out.

I purchased 2nd hand caliper from R1100RT 1997. Fiche says same caliper and caliper repair kit part numbers. Caliper arrived today and I noticed R1100RT caliper cylinders haven't got protective caps on them. Please see pictures:

So ... THE QUESTION:

Shell I be concerned about this difference?

It will be fine without those caps.
