Hi Guys
Will I get code error if I use a turn signal splitter cable and add another turn signal to my front turn signals ?
I got pair of led spots that have a separate amber leds and would like them to act as a turn signal. The lights have 3 wire and so one of the wire is for the amber light.

Would the BMW canbus have a problem splitting the turn signal wire ?

Thanks

My lone rider lights are plugged in to the ezcan and they flash at the same time as the indicators.

I have tank decal halo lights on my gsa, which are a white running light and a turn signal.
I get an error message on the dash briefly which then dissappears after a couple of seconds. Strangely I only get the error if the indicators flash 8 times or more.

And here I am taping over 2/3rds of my 1300gs hand guard turn sigs because they were lighting up all the buildings around the intersection.

Hi Vaughan!

The best anyone's going to be able to say is 'Maybe'. There's no way to tell how the CANBUS will react if you try to make it do things it wasn't designed for.

The latest firmware for the Hex ezCAN allows lights to be set as auxiliary turn signals (for front or rear), or as running+brake+turn lights (rear only).
The other ezCAN feature you may find useful is that front spotlights can be set to flash in alternating fashion with the turn signals and hazard lights.
