R1150GS 2002 Near finished !

Hi, I'm doing the exact same thing to my 2002 gs at the moment and funny enough I had the same paint down on my list. did you actually strip the engine and gearbox of paint to, I've stripped my engine down to just the crankcase to get into all the nooks and crannys and have been sanding and cleaning it for three bloody days ,thats just the block on my bench ,the thought of the rest of it makes me want to stick my head in an oven. well done by the way. its my first day on this forum ,will put pics up of my project when i suss it out, cheers ,

Exhaust photo is my bike but I didn't fit it nice fellow On here done it look him up [chad] sure he done a mod to make it fit.

Another vote for the cat and stubby pipe. I ran that setup for probably 70,000 miles. The bike pulled better from low rev's was very little louder but a really good "ripping fabric" sound at high revs hard on the power. A bit better on fuel too!
