I've done a search and got nothing. :( I've found some stuff on 1200's but nothing on 1150's.

Has anyone created a list of what should be in a 1150GS toolkit?

I would love to build up a comprehensive toolkit for my R1150GS Adventure so I would really appreciate some help on this.

Decide what work you would be happy doing to the bike at the side of the road.
Work out what tools are required to do these jobs.

Plus a Swiss Army knife :D

It's way too much hard work to go and measure every torx head, bolt size etc. that I may need a tool for and it still leaves a lot of room for error as I might not even think of something that might break while I'm out there. Not only that, my travel companion might be a lot more skilled than me at fixing something but might not carry the correct tools for my bike.

There is a lot on 1200GS toolkits everywhere(just one example http://www.r1200gs.info/misc/toolkit.html).

Surely someone must have done a similar list for the 1150 by now?

just copy whats in the 1150 GS toolkit - should cover your ADV

Tool kit code is if you want to buy the complete as is from BMW and tool bag is just that, a tool bag empty.

Differences in hook wrench and extension may just be down to difference designs over years.

The little Allen key without code, who knows but if making the kit up easy enough to pick up a complete Allen kit from Halfords etc

Yerp the plastic tool is in the 1150 kit as well for removing (ss) non stick coil suppressor cap
Add a leatherman and a decent puncture repair kit (like 'safety seal' strings) and you're good to go.

A Stop n Go tyre plugger kit is a mUST for any tubeless rider. just google it. M&P with luck.
Slime pump for inflation.
If you don't want to carry Torx heads...change them out for allen heads.
