Noticed a lot of muck sticking to the final drive and a small drop of oil on the connecting bellows between the final drive and swingarm. Cleaned it all up and it doesn't look like a final drive leak, could it be the gearbox output shaft seal letting oil run down the transmission tunnel?
Thanks

Most likely the final drive input seal leaking. Swing down the final drive unit and look into the swingarm to see if oil is coming down the swingarm. If it's dry then it'll be the F/D input seal.

+1 for Steptoe's reply.
My FD looked just like your photo and it was the final drive input seal. Took it to Mikeyboy for a good going over - new seals and bearings. Collecting it tomorrow so hopefully the good weather will return!

Thanks lads. On inspection the transmission tunnel is dry, gear box oil level to the top, FD a few mm down so FD input seal it is.
Thanks again for your responses.
