Is it a GS seat or an adventure seat ? I'm going to get my SE seat recovered. I had been told about a guy on Collins avenue opposite DCU but I'll be interested in how you get on.
Liam did a great job for me. Put some extra sponge in and even made me a backrest that can be attached to the seat for the missus. All for 60 Euros. Turned it around in 24 hours.
Was the cover material similar to the original?
Had a lad in the Bluebell area who was willing to put in a gel pad and recover, but the material he had was way too light.
Didnt really take notice of the thickness of the cover but I think it may have been a bit thinner. I sent the seat down to Spain last week but will see it again later this week. I will check and let you know.
