Which AIRHAWK seat best fits the standard seat on a standard 2002 model R1150GS? I'm guessing the big cruiser seat, but contray advice welcome.

I have the small cruiser on my 1150, at 12" wide it is wide enough without overhanging and doesn't get in the way of your legs.

But more importantly it is 18" long front to back which allows you to move about a bit. I tried the medium cruiser and it felt too short front to back, like I was about to slide of it all the time.

If you think you need something larger though then the Large Cruiser might be best as it is both wide AND long.

Thanks for the feedback.

I use a sheepskin but it forces my knees apart ( ooer missus) and out into the airstream.

So maybe a small cruiser is what I need. I have a small-ish arse so a large cruiser maybe over-doing it.

Er, next question, AIRHAWK or AIRHAWK 2? Seems to be a massive price difference, is the original model worth the extra expense?

When I bought mine only the expensive neoprene version was available. I have replaced the cover once so far when it got a bit worn but the actual seat pad is still fine after 6 years.
